I’m Dom and 'Sky, Rail & Road' is where you'll find my illustrations of Iconic vehicles. All my artwork starts off as simple lines and vector shapes created in Adobe Illustrator. Once the blueprint is complete, I move the vector illustrations into Adobe Photoshop where I use digital airbrushing techniques to add depth and texture to the vehicles.

Originally from Derby, with early plans of taking an apprenticeship with Rolls Royce Aero design department that never took off (excuse the pun), I made the decision to study Graphic design and Illustration at Salford University.

I later moved to London where I have been for the last 20 years, working as a Graphic Designer and visual image maker for an array of different companies across the music, fashion, tech industries with clients including the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team.

My love of planes and trains comes from spending time with my Grandad  visiting airshows and listening to his stories of being in the Fleet Air Arm working on Avengers, Hellcats and Corsairs, and his later work on the railways. 

I created ’Sky, Rail & Road’ as a place to share my passion for iconic vehicles, old and new.
